Renowned actress Bimbo Akintola believes that no role is beneath any actor’s capabilities.

Discussing her longevity in the industry, Akintola said, “An actor’s duty is to embody any role. There’s no such thing as a role being too insignificant for an actor. As a true artist, one should embrace every challenge that comes their way. I take pride in my ability to interpret a variety of roles. An actor is essentially a tool used by the director to narrate a story.”

When asked about the criteria she uses to select movie roles, she explained, “I choose movies based on my connection with the character I’m set to portray. The story’s message is crucial, especially its impact on women and children, who are the most vulnerable groups in society. I prioritize these considerations before thinking about men. There must also be a meaningful message because we can never have too many stories that promote positive change. Our films should serve as instruments for societal transformation, gradually eliminating negative elements.”
