In an interview with Punch Newspaper’s Sunday Scoop, Darasimi recalled, “It was not taxing to deliver my role because my character and I are alike. However, there were a few challenges because Mr. Ramsey always had a specific way he wanted things to go. For instance, he could want one’s voice to be very deep in some lines, and then light, like a singing bird in another. But above all that, it was beautiful and blissful working on set with everyone, and yes, there were a lot of memorable moments.” Beyond the learning curve, the experience marked her first appearance in a Netflix original, a significant achievement for a young Nollywood actress still carving her path.
AMVCA Recognition at Just 14
Her rising profile was further solidified in 2025 when she received a milestone AMVCA nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her emotionally gripping performance in Aburo.
