In the past three weeks, the team at TAFTA took its transformative training to various communities in Lagos. The team lead, in the company of the learning officers and a select few staff visited Somolu, Lagos State University (LASU), Idimu, and the University of Lagos (UNILAG), leaving a lasting impact on the lives of numerous individuals.
The empowerment training, carefully designed by TAFTA, aimed to equip participants with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. The sessions were interactive, engaging, and tailored to address the unique needs and concerns of each community.
In Somolu, the team worked with a vibrant group of young people, focusing on topics such as self-awareness, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The participants were enthusiastic and receptive, eager to absorb the valuable insights and advice shared by the TAFTA trainers.
At LASU, the training centered on academic excellence, time management, and stress reduction techniques. The students were actively engaged, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own experiences. The TAFTA team was impressed by the students’ eagerness to learn and grow.
In Idimu, the community came together to discuss issues related to health, wellness, and relationships. Finally, at UNILAG, the training focused on career development, professional networking, and personal branding.
